WASP's Ocelli

Beginning as a project in appropriative video art, this performance in combination with a rapid bombardment of commercial and pop culture imagery became a parody of young, white, affluent, middle class males; producing an extreme sample of excess and social power. In addition to this, the repetitive motion in which the video is displayed adds to a comment upon the cyclical nature of male-centric media and a patriarchal society.
